Lake Tahoe Historical Society presents Western Days, the kickoff to the Highway 50 Association Wagon Train, on June 3 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission to the family-friendly event at Lake Tahoe History Museum in South Lake Tahoe is free. Enjoy tours of the museum, peeks into a 1930s log cabin, children’s activities, pony rides, horse-drawn carriages, vendors of Western wear and jewelry, entertainment by the Hangtown Marshalls, history sharing with David Woodruff and food and beverages for purchase. Parking is available at South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center.
