West Shore back-country shuttle

Tahoe Backcountry Alliance is offering a free shuttle on March 14 to access back-country trails on Highway 89 on the West Shore for skiers and riders. The shuttle departs the Tahoe City Transit Center at 7:30, 9:30 and 11:30 a.m. and takes riders to Emerald Bay; trailhead location is dependent on conditions. The shuttle returns at 10:15 a.m. and 12:15, 2:15 and 3:30 p.m. Reservations are available, but are not required.
