New wildlife learning center

A new Outdoor Learning Center will be built this summer at the Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care’s new 27-acre property in South Lake Tahoe thanks to grants from the Tahoe Fund and Tahoe Blue Vodka. Lake Tahoe Wildlife Care has a long history of rescuing, rehabilitating and releasing more than 16,000 of Tahoe’s injured and orphaned wildlife. The new Outdoor Learning Center will expand the group’s ability to educate locals and visitors and increase wildlife stewardship. | ltwc.org
