Tahoe Food Hub announces its farm-to-table dinner series called Supper Club, an enticing, new way to enjoy local food with friends, while learning where the food came from, who supplied it and who cooked it. A local chef is paired with a local farmer and rancher to design a seasonal, four-course menu reminiscent of simpler times and supper club days.
The first dinner is on Aug. 27 at Painted Rock Lodge. Chef Eduardo Diaz de Leon of Truckee Food Shop will partner with Plum Possum Farm in Lincoln and Delta Ranch of Loomis. Other dinners are Sept. 10 and Sept. 17.
Tickets are $110 per person and includes two glasses of wine or beer. Music will be performed by Tahoe School of Music. | tahoefoodhub.org
Sept. 10 | Dancing Pines near Jackson Meadows
Chef Alex Tolger of Mogrog will collaborate with Stone’s Throw Farm of Colfax and Hole in One Ranch from Janesville.
Sept. 17 | Deer Lake on Donner Summit
Billy McCullough, formerly of Dragonfly, will team up with Flying V Farm from Placerville and AM Ranch in Penn Valley.
