Truckee River Watershed Council in partnership with Tahoe Institute for Natural Science offers Foriver Bird Walks this summer in different areas of the Truckee River watershed. These events are geared for adults who love to watch birds and hike.
On July 18, the Foriver Bird Walk will be in Middle Martis Wetland from 7 to 9 a.m. This short hike will explore native bird species. No experience is required. Bird guides will be provided, but participants should bring their own binoculars. Dogs are not allowed on the hikes.
Other Foriver Bird Walks include: Lacey Meadows on Aug. 3, Boca Reservoir on Aug. 15 and Donner Pass on Aug. 31. All hikes are from 7 to 9 a.m. Space is limited. RSVP to [email protected] | truckeeriverwc.org
