Art Show to Benefit Trail

“Autumn Hike” Paula Robison | Swill Coffee & Wine

A show of original oil paintings by artists Karen Barrenechea and Paula Robison dedicated to the Tahoe-Pyramid Trail and inspired by the river corridor’s diversity, beauty and the unique Truckee River access is on display through July at Swill Coffee & Wine in Reno, Nev.; 25 percent from sales will benefit the nonprofit Tahoe-Pyramid Trail organization.

Tahoe-Pyramid Trail follows the Truckee River from Lake Tahoe to Pyramid Lake, a total of 114 miles. Some of it is paved and some is dirt. Five sections of the trail are now open to hikers and mountain bikers: Tahoe City to Hirschdale, Hirschdale to Verdi, Nev., Verdi to Reno/Sparks, Mustang to US Parkway, and Wadsworth to Pyramid Lake. | tahoepyramidtrail.org
