Animals Visit the Library

Sure, you can find books about wild animals from around the world in the library. But did you know you can see some up close and personal, too? Maybe you will meet a kookaburra, a baby capuchin monkey, a ring-tailed lemur or an iguana. On July 19 from 2 to 3 p.m. at Kings Beach Library, Wild Things Inc. will be bringing exotic and California-native animals to share stories of their survival skills. The event is free. Space is limited; register early. | eventbrite.com

Wild Things Inc. will also be showing at Incline Village Library on July 24 at 4 p.m. This event is also free. | (775) 832-4130
