The Fine Arts department at Sierra Nevada College in Incline Village, Nev., hosts the 35th annual Summer Art Workshops through July 21. A variety of summer workshops given by nationally known ceramists, glass artists, painters, sculptors, printmakers, digital artists, photographers, paper makers, jewelers and more will be available to the public. The two- to five-day workshops for ages 16 and older will be in the Holman Arts and Media Center. Participants can learn new techniques and expand their knowledge in a medium.
On Tuesday nights at 7 p.m. each week during the session, “Meet the Artist” lectures will be in Prim Library, followed by an informal reception in the Tahoe Gallery. The lectures and receptions are free and open to the public. | sierranevada.edu
