After record-breaking snowfall throughout the Tahoe region in February, Heavenly Mountain Resort, Northstar California and Kirkwood Mountain Resort have announced plans to extend the 2018-19 ski and snowboard season. Plans may change based on weather, conditions or U.S. Forest Service approval.
- Heavenly plans to extend the season through April 28, with a bonus three-day weekend from May 3 to 5.
- Northstar plans to extend the season through April 21.
- Kirkwood plans to extend the season through April 14 with a bonus three-day weekend from April 19 to 21.
