Tahoe City hosts Solstice Festival

One of Tahoe City’s signature events and a fundraiser for the nonprofit Tahoe City Downtown Association, the 13th annual Tahoe City Food & Wine Classic will return to the shore of Lake Tahoe on June 16 from 1 to 5 p.m. And, for the first time, the event has sold out. However, there are still many great events to enjoy throughout Tahoe City.

The four-day Solstice Festival brings together artisan food and wine, acclaimed musicians and artists, and the popular shops, restaurants and galleries that add to the character and charm of Tahoe City. Festival highlights include the North Lake Tahoe Plein Air through June 16, the Tahoe City Farmer’s Market on Thursday, Classic Car Stroll on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., the Grab Your Glass event at Café Zenon on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. open to all, and the summer’s first Concert at Commons Beach featuring the Dead Winter Carpenters on Sunday at 4 p.m. | visittahoecity.org
