Miracle March brings another 1 to 3 feet powder

What a difference 48 hours makes as an epic two-day snowstorm brought 3 to 4 feet of new snow to the Tahoe Sierra between Feb. 28 and March 3. UPDATE: Friday’s storm brought several more feet to local resorts.

Plan on difficult travel conditions, and damage to trees and power lines is possible. Be prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times with more road closures possible again. Expect winter travel impacts though Saturday as this major winter storm continues to affect the region, according to the Weather Service.
